Sheena’s 20th Birthday 2010

GL5 meetup day too C: This marks the start of our 8th year of friendship (Of course with michelle its the 12th)! This is kind of late but im glad that you had enjoyed yourself on that special day of yours! No emo stuff now but i hope that the five of us can go on to celebrate one another’s birthday in the future many many years to come. & im sure we will!

Ate at Pasta de Waraku for the first time! Its quite nice and the bowl’s so huge it looks like a toilet bowl. Initially i was quite turned off by it but it wasnt so bad when you just concentrate on looking at the pasta inside. Took many photos that day. Something that we hadnt done for so long! C:

BIG5 Meetup

Dinner at Bliss. The food wasnt really value for money but the company made up for it! We didn’t really do much except what we ALWAYS do when we have a full meetup and that’s to camwhore. HAHA evolution of the apes and unglam jump shots. Finally seen Jocelyn nnpok and stopitlah wl. Havent seen them for sooo long. Meet up soon! <3

Class Gathering

Had dinner at Timbre Old School! Like finally. Anyway i guess the place wasnt as nice as i had imagined it to be. And worse, there’s no aircon!! The pizza was nice though! The 7 of us ordered 3 pizzas to share. There’s Hawaiian, Roast Duck and Spicy Cajun Chicken. All were thin crusted but nice! C: Was very tempted to order either apple/lychee martini but didnt in the end :C Also celebrated Calvin and Althea’s birthdays with blackforest cake. Pity Jiaxin and Weijie couldnt make it! Its alright we’ll have one after CNY! C: Photos coming later!

Anyway, im in the office working now. Eh, working? Bosses not here yet, no phone calls, no faxes the last time i checked, nothing to photocopy. Its times like this i wonder which is better- paying me money for not doing anything or doing for doing something. Okay i dont understand what im talking about now im just bored to tears!!

Its 8:54am Friday morning and im at work now.

Very very very tired :C

Helped out at orientation yesterday from 8am till 1pm and i’ve got a terrible sunburn now! After, huishan jr aaron and i went over to ps to meet up with wj for lunch and watch him shave his head! Super funny. Calvin joined us for a while also to watch wj w/o hair haha. Goodbye chicken will miss you! C:

Huishan and i went back for training in the evening. Trained with them from 5 till 9. Surprisingly i think i played rather okay considering i havent trained for months. :\ Fell in love with volleyball once again. HAHA sentimental siol. Dinner at parkway hawker till around 1030 before heading home. Anw, the main point is, damn tired! :< I need sleep!!

Turn this place into our private getaway.

Tried organizing all the photos in my laptop but so far i had spent 3 afternoons doing that and im only half done. :C

My daddy wanted to tell my mom that this girl on tv looks like fergie-from black eyed peas. He said ‘This girl looks like the girl from Peanuts.’ Apparantly i was in my room and i didnt think it was funny at all until he corrected himself and said ‘Eh no, black eyed peas. What Peanuts?’

Day out with Hui Shan nnpok! Joc nnpok couldnt make it cos she has work. Full day of work. :( We still havent had a proper outing grrrr. Its alright coming week coming week. :D Watched Hear Me. Haha i think i stole Jr’s position in watching that movie with Hui Shan cos she was totally ‘awwwwwing’ over the movie HAHA. Went to walk around at Far East after that with Jr and Hui Shan bought her cardi! Im still thinking if i should go get another look at the vests. C: Trained to Hg cos Jr went for vb and Hs and i went to hg mall. Cotton On was having sale so we went to check it out in the end we went to try on a lot of clothing and we both bought stuff from there. Dinner at KFC before she went XMS while i went home. Thanks for the day nnpok. C:

Woke early to go pay respects to my granddad. Family came over to my house after that but i couldnt stay cos i arranged a picnic with my friends at botanic gardens (again). Well it was kinda fun we brought food like sandwiches, sausages, chicken, spag, marshmellows, drinks, chips but we didnt eat alot. Played cards, vb, touch rugby, blasted music. It was kinda nice just spending the afternoon out with friends on a field in the shade:D Though i had an unknown cut on my hand and banged my head on the tree branch while playing touch rug, but i had fun!C: Dinner (it suddenlyn dawned on my how we could still manage to have dinner after having a picnic) was at chomp chomp and after that we still went to eat ice cream at ice cube! Dessert was more expensive than dinner. :\ Had mud pie it was super duper sweet. Cl’s house after that watch Hui Ci on youtube wth.

Stayed in. I rewatched Night At The Museum 1 & 2 on PPS. Ben Stiller’s cool! He reminds me so much of Adam Sandler. Watched Walt Disney films! Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Despite them being such popular fairytales, i realised i never watched them before! Anyway Cinderella’s not really very nice she makes use of the animals and she got really upset! :\ I wanted to watch Snow White and Little Mermaid but cannot load!:C

Another stay in. Lunched with parents after bringing my dog down to poop. Some little girl wanted to come near my dog but kept screaming when she moved slightly. So being the helpful person i am, i wanted to hold my dog down so that she can come near but apparantly she mistook my actions for wanting to unleash my dog cos she ran away to her maid screaming something about my dog going to run to her. HELLO & the maid just give me a dirty look. Stupid young girl. ;\

Disney movie today: Tarzan. Eh he’s cute k. Anyway had facial today. Didnt cry (like last time)! I HATE STUPID PIMPLES. And skin care products are so expensive sigh. 200+ bucks flown away just like that. No news from the job yet. I need to work cos i need the money cos im becoming a shopaholic! ARRRRRRRRRRGH! :<

Day out with michelle. Had lunch at Suki. Its really better than buffet cos you just eat and each plate of sushi costs 0.99 cents. Caught The Treasure Hunter (its actually the jay chou show). I kind of had no comments on the movie cos as usual, i never really understood the movie. Sometimes, i think the only shows that i can understand are cartoons like Up. :\ Headed over to Bugis Street after that (its becoming a usual haunt too). Bought 3 tops, really happy! Met Sheena and Wen Ting for dinner at the coffee shop near Sheena’s house. Usually i’ll eat a lot when we have dinner there but surprisingly i didnt stuff myself this time. Havent had a meet up for so so long and Caroline wasnt there too. Soon alright? :)

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY HUI SHAN NNPOK! :D

Lunched with mom and dad at tpy central. This year with them hasnt started off on a good note. There seems to be lots of tension probably cos of certain stuff and over which job i should go for. This feeling really sucks and i hope things take a turn for the better. Im really really very confused about the job at CPF. I really want it but i just dont know how to go about applying for it. Sigh with all these stuff and worrying about results, no wonder 10000000000000 pimples are still popping out on my face. Now i know what im stressing over.

Okay, enough of all these demoralising stuff. Surprised Hui Shan at her house with Joc, their primary school friends and Jasmine. As usual, Jia Rong spoil surprise HAHA. Girl, hope you had a fantabulous day today and also hope you like the silly card and the perfume!C: May you have a great year ahead and you’ll always be our bestest nnpok!

Grandma’s birthday! Buffet dinner at Tung Lok Restaurant at ECP. The food’s pretty good and service was great. This is my first time having a buffet of this kind. Its not a one person kind of buffet but rather the whole table so for instance if you order one dish, they serve the whole fish/prawns/an entire pot of chicken etc. So it was super filling! It amounts to about 40 bucks per person though so to me i guess its kind of expensive.

Caroline came over to pick me up after that before heading over to fetch cl, l and andy from srgoon. Went to geylang for supper. Ate dou jiang you tiao! And then explored around. Andy and cl scared and l fascinated by yu gangs. Returned back to srgoon, ended up at the prata stall below cl’s house. Andy ate 2 more pratas. Snuggled into bed at 3am.

Woke up at 10. Supposed to meet at 11am at tpy SAFRA but ended up meeting late as usual. B Box only opened at 2pm so we went to eat brunch at POPEYES. Imagine that! A POPEYES outlet in tpy. I seriously dont think it’ll last long. TPY has so few youngsters as compared to middle aged and old aged folks. Headed back to SAFRA. Nose bled. B Box opened at 130pm so we went earlier. They are all so funny in their own ways. Seriously, i wonder how we ever clicked. HAHA. Anyway its really cheap. 1450 per person for 5 hours+2 drinks+fuits+nuts. Even cheaper with member and on weekdays. New haunt.

Busy week ahead. GO!

Countdown at Hui Shan’s house last night, drinking sparkling juice, laughing at the countdown party programme, catching the fireworks, camwhoring with close friends. Yeah, i wouldn’t have preferred it any other way. :)

This year’s going to be different. I just know it will.

when there is this invisible brick wall between 2 people, it takes much effort to demolish it but little to build it up higher.
i want so much to break down this barrier but things will screw up all over again.
